This 4-person show features 3 and 4-part harmony of over 30 songs from the 1950's and 1960's. All characters have a storyline and featured solos, often with the others singing backup harmony. As such, all four actors are on-stage the entire show and will be needed at virtually all rehearsals – making it difficult to work around anyone with significant conflicts.

Synopsis

This Off-Broadway hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where we meet Suzy, Missy, Betty Jean and Cindy Lou – the Marvelous Wonderettes who have been asked to step in as the entertainment for the prom. We learn about their lives and loves, as they  serenade us with classic 1950s hits including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” and “Lipstick on Your Collar.”  Act One concludes with the vote for prom queen.

In Act Two, the Wonderettes reunite to perform at their ten-year class reunion. Suzy, Missy, and Betty Jean stayed in Springfield after high school, while Cindy Lou went to Hollywood. We learn about what they've been doing for the past decade with classic 1960s hits including “It's My Party,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” “Leader of the Pack,” and “Respect.”
